Job Description

Fairfax Hospital - ISCI Clinic 6N-Fairfax) is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant 1 to join the team. This role will be Full-Time, Day Shift from Monday – Friday.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient care including vital signs, assisting with exams and procedures, collecting specimens, administering injections, and patient education
• Prepare patients for examinations and relay instructions
• Assist with pre-visit planning and clerical tasks such as managing medical records and lab reports
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring equipment is functional and sterile techniques are followed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic huddles

Additional Requirements

• Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 year of clinical practice experience preferred
