Job summary

US Foot and Ankle Specialists seeks a focused Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff in a fast-paced podiatry clinic. You will prepare patients, document in EMR, and assist with minor procedures, X-rays, and post-op care.

Responsibilities include managing lab work, insurance verifications, pre-authorizations, and patient education, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service across multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year of clinical experience.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Detail-oriented, professional, and patient-focused.
• Ability to travel between local office locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments; manage inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support back-office operations, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

The Medical Assistant provides essential support and administrative services to the office, the doctors, and the patients in a fast-paced doctor’s office. This person will be involved in a wide spectrum of tasks focused around assisting the Physician in all minor in office procedures.

Medical Assistant Physical Requirements:

• Sit, talk, hear, and use hands to write, type, or operate office equipment
