Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to join our team serving military service members in Texas, with a focus on weekend shifts and occasional weekdays. You will contribute to health readiness through clinical duties and patient care in mobile and fixed-site settings.

The role emphasizes phlebotomy, vaccinations, EKGs, vital signs, and compassionate care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Prior military or mobile clinic experience is a plus; weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training.
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience with military - preferred
• Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
• Must have weekend availability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred

Responsibilities

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Texas on an \"as needed basis\".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
