Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to support military service members in Texas, primarily weekends with some weekday shifts as needed. You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vitals in a mobile/deployed clinic setting, aligning with fixed-clinic and telemedicine models.

Ideal candidates hold MA certification, CPR/BLS, and have experience in fast-paced environments; military or mobile medical service background is a plus. Weekend availability is a must for this role.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification; phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred; weekend availability required.
• Experience working with military or mobile medical services is preferred.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Texas on an \"as needed basis\".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
