Job summary

DOCS Health in New Mexico is seeking Medical Assistants to partner with our team, supporting U.S. military service members through mobile clinics and fixed-site services.

The role focuses on weekend shifts with occasional weekdays as needed, serving several reserve and guard units in New Mexico. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and taking vitals and vision tests, while maintaining universal precautions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of New Mexico on an \"as needed basis\".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities
