Job summary

DOCS Health in Roswell, NM is recruiting Medical Assistants to support military service members through its mobile and fixed-clinic deployments. Weekend shifts are primary, with occasional weekday coverage as needed.

You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs, while adhering to universal precautions. A CMA or RN-equivalent, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of experience are preferred; military or mobile clinic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training.
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of New Mexico on an \"as needed basis\".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities
