GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist in patient examinations and treatment under an urgent care provider. This position involves managing patient intake, measuring vital signs, and ensuring a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and certification in basic life support. This role offers an hourly rate from $23 to $30 and eligibility for additional monthly bonuses.

TheMedical Assistantassists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider. Manages the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Hourly rate: $23.00- $30.00
Bonus eligible up to $600/month

*In the state of California MA's must hold: 1) Graduate of MA school needed + Certified OR, 2) MA must receive additional internal training either by graduating from MA school or receive training under Physician, NP, PA, etc
