Job summary

UH Pavilion in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under direct supervision of a provider or licensed nurse. The role also involves performing clerical duties and upholding University Health policies and guest relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
• One-year experience in a clinic, doctor’s office or ambulatory setting is desirable, but not required.
