Southern Michigan Pain Consultants in St. Joseph, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide hands-on clinical and administrative support, help keep daily workflows running smoothly, and ensure every patient experience is efficient, compassionate, and positive.
Under RN supervision, you’ll collect assessment data, assist with patient education, and use our EMR and office software to keep records accurate while supporting coordinated, patient-centered care.

You’ll provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care by collecting assessment data, supporting patients’ physical and emotional needs, and assisting with patient education. Working under RN supervision, you’ll maintain professionalism during routine visits and unexpected situations alike, while ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
You’ll work closely with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, patient-centered care and ensure smooth clinic operations throughout the day.
You’ll use our EMR and other software systems to keep patient records accurate, organized, and up to date, helping the team stay efficient, compliant, and focused on patient care.
You’re comfortable using EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and basic office technology. You communicate clearly, manage your time well, and remain calm under pressure. You can juggle multiple priorities, work independently when needed, and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Above all, you bring a patient-first mindset and a strong sense of accountability to your work.
