Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care. The role combines administrative tasks with clinical support, including vital signs, injections, and entry of information in the EMR.

Successful candidates may have MA school training or be Certified/Registered Medical Assistants, plus phlebotomy and CPR certification. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position reporting to the Center Administrator.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or certification as Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• CPR certification and vaccine administration experience.
• TB screening is required for this role.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant Performs Clinical Tasks Such As

• Other tasks as assigned

Required

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• CPR Certified
• We consider this role patient facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Preferred

• Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration) Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Value-based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$43,000 - $56,200 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
