Job summary

ExperCARE in Pooler, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The role includes triage, vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections, and assisting providers, with a focus on compassionate patient care and education.

Qualified candidates are certified or licensed (or eligible for licensure), with exceptional customer service and communication skills, and the ability to pass a background check. Flexible availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed CMA/RMA, or eligible for certification/licensure.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient service.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.
