Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team across Fox Chapel, Wexford, and South Hills clinics. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist physicians during procedures, and handle scheduling and record-keeping to ensure smooth clinic workflow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical experience, a medical assistant training background, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification is a plus. A patient-focused, fast-paced environment experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar direct patient care role
• Experience with vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection
• Completion of MA training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in fast-paced settings

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival to ensure a comfortable experience
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with procedures as directed
• Perform administrative tasks: scheduling, verify insurance, manage patient records
• Maintain clean, organized medical environment and sterilize equipment
• Educate patients on medications and post-procedure care
• Support medical team with additional tasks as required

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details:

• Location: This position works in our Fox Chapel, Wexford, and South Hills clinic locations
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Compensation: $21-$24/hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a comfortable experience
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with medical procedures as directed
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized medical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and in working order
• Educate patients on medication instructions and post-procedure care
• Support the medical team with additional tasks as required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required
