Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Our Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting clinic staff in both front and back office settings. They provide safe, knowledgeable, and professional care to all patients under the direction of providers and/or nurses within their scope of practice.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

What You'll Do

1. Room patients and assist providers as needed.
2. Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
3. Perform regular cleaning, inventory, and equipment checks of exam rooms.
4. Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading images into the EMR, and scribing for providers.
5. Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and relevant information in the EMR.
6. Reinforce doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results.
7. Respond to patient and non-patient inquiries as directed by providers.

Skills and Experience

1. Minimum one-year experience as an MA preferred.
2. Certification as a Medical Assistant highly preferred.
3. Scribe experience preferred.
4. This position works with Saguaro Dermatology, an affiliated company.
