Job summary

Main Line Health in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Medical Assistant to support surgical practices across Media, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square, King of Prussia, Wynnewood and Paoli. You will work closely with physicians and staff to provide patient care, draw blood, take vitals, and help manage patient flow.

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program with certification preferred. BLS for Healthcare Providers is required or will be within 30 days of hire; respirator use is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third party payors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with routine patient care tasks to maintain smooth flow.
• Perform blood draws, measure vitals, and administer immunizations.
• Perform EKGs and other routine procedures as directed.
• Support clinical staff and ensure accurate charting and patient readiness.
