Job summary

New York Health in New York City seeks a Medical Assistant to support a PCP practice. You will manage patient intakes, record vital signs, collect specimens, and prepare patients for examinations. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient intakes and recording of information accurately.
• Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture and diagnostic tests.
• Record patients' vital signs and prepare them for examinations.
• Sterilize medical equipment and assist providers with data entry and office procedures.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
• Support the team during visits and office procedures.
