SpineSearch is partnering with a large, well-established multi-site surgical practice with locations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to identify a dedicated Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, room, and prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures.
- Triage patients by obtaining and documenting medical histories, chief complaints, and vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms and patient charts prior to appointments.
- Obtain and organize outside medical records and reports as needed.
- Enter physician orders accurately into the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Develop a general understanding of insurance verification and the medical billing process.
- Monitor and maintain clinical supply inventory, place orders, and ensure examination rooms remain fully stocked.
- Maintain medical equipment by following operating procedures, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating repairs when necessary.
- Support physicians and office leadership with additional clinical and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Travel between practice locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and patient service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and medical office workflows is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between office locations as required by the schedule.
