Minimum Qualifications

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certification.

- CMA or RMA certification required.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, or stoop approximately 75% of the day, walking or sitting the remainder.
- Ability to push, pull or lift objects greater than 50lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities
I. Duties
- Prepare and organize the exam room for the treatment of patients.
- Notifies appropriate clinical staff that patient is present.
- Obtains medical history, measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records in patient’s chart.
- Evaluates schedules and reminds patients of appointments and to bring a list of all medications.
- Ensures that equipment representatives and/or vendors have appropriate badges and do not interfere with patient care or confidentiality.
- Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the practice.
- Utilizes electronic health records.
- Performs other duties as needed.
