Job summary

US Fertility, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks a Medical Assistant to join Fertility Centers of Illinois within our national network. The role emphasizes phlebotomy, patient care, and labs coordination within a compassionate fertility team.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal MA program; preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail; comfortable with data entry and computer applications.
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high volume of phlebotomy.
  • Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
  • Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
  • Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
  • Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicates physician orders and instructions.
  • Provide pre and post op education.
  • Perform semen washes and set up for IUIs.
  • Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
  • Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families.
  • Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved.
  • Support and promote excellence in customer service.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM Central Time
  • Compensation: $23 to $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Medical Assistantwill:
