This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families. Part Time Position.Key ResponsibilitiesEscort patients from waiting room(s) to exam room(s), confirming date of birth and ensuring patients are in the proper attire required for their visitAt relevant sites, MAs will walk patients to radiology or POPs rooms/waiting areas, in addition to rooming for clinicObtain patient vitals (height, weight, temperature, pulse, BP, etc.), draw blood, and conduct basic medical history (including chief complaint, medication history, social history, and family history)Monitor Epic DAR and communicate with all relevant teams (front desk, radiology, POPs, etc.) to ensure timely rooming and patient handoffsDirect physicians and APPs to patient rooms based on Epic DAR statusPrepare exam rooms daily; stock and maintain supplies and equipmentAt relevant sites, support cast room setup, cleaning, and supply managementRequired QualificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) Required within 30-90 days of hirePreferred Qualifications1 year Pediatric/Ambulatory CareEMR SystemsSpanish proficiency is preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Office tools, HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety protocols is preferredCMA, RMA, CCMAThe pay range for this position is 18.80 - 26.53/hourly.Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
