Silver Cross Hospital in Lemont, IL, is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician to support providers in an ambulatory setting. You will take vital signs, review medications, coordinate blood draws, and help keep visits on schedule. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; CMA preferred but not required.
CPR certification and prior PCT/CNA experience are a plus. Shift availability includes days, with nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Assists in delivery of primary healthcare, patient care management, and some clerical duties (as needed) in an ambulatory environment. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
Knowledge of medical practice to assist in patient care.
Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
High school diploma or GED required. Graduation or completion of Certified Medical Assistant preferred, not required.
Patient Care Technicians and Certified Nursing Assistant experience can be considered. CPR Certification.
Days - Variable weekday and weekend, Must be available to work nights, rotating weekends and holidays

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $19.45 - $24.32 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
