Lakeside Orthopedic Institute in Lake Havasu City, AZ, seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our orthopedic team. You will work with surgeons and clinicians to support patient care and maintain accurate records in the EMR.

Formación

• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
• Orthopedic or specialty-practice experience is a plus.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Friendly and professional with excellent patient-service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and injections.
• Assist physicians and providers during clinic.
• Update and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Review and document medications and allergies.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain appropriate clinical supplies.
• Assist with patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Coordinate imaging, therapy, referrals, and other provider orders as needed.
• Respond to patient messages and assist with clinical follow-up.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient clinic environment.
• Work collaboratively with providers, front-office staff, and other Lakeside Health departments.

Lakeside Orthopedic Institute is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our orthopedic team in Lake Havasu City. As part of Lakeside Health, our team works alongside orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality specialty care to patients throughout the community and surrounding region.

Position Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and injections
• Assist physicians and providers during clinic
• Update and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record
• Review and document medications and allergies
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain appropriate clinical supplies
• Assist with patient education and follow-up instructions
• Coordinate imaging, therapy, referrals, and other provider orders as needed
• Respond to patient messages and assist with clinical follow-up
