Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. You will obtain vital signs, collect patient history, reconcile medications, and support patient flow while supporting providers.

You will manage the EPIC EHR, schedule appointments, handle medication requests and prior authorizations, and coordinate tests and procedures, with opportunities to perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections after competency. This role supports a fast-paced clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office, clinic or similar setting.
• Direct, hands-on patient care experience, including obtaining vital signs, documenting patient history and medications, and performing clinical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, administering injections or vaccines.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on patient experience as part of the curriculum.
• Basic computer skills, experience with an EMR System is a plus.
