Job summary

CardioClinic in Katy, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our cardiology team. You will assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures, perform EKGs and vital signs, prepare and room patients, and help document medical histories and chief complaints in the EHR.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, CMA/RMA certification preferred, prior clinical office experience, EHR proficiency, and BLS/CPR certification or the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA/RMA preferred.
• Experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred.
• Experience with EKGs and cardiac monitoring is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
