The Humana Inc. Medical Assistant position in Lantana, FL combines administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. You will be the first contact for patients and report to the Center Administrator.
Responsibilities include documenting symptoms in the EMR, recording vital signs, injections, diagnostic tests, and specimen collection. Requires MA training or a certified/registered MA, with hours 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday.
The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care.
The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator.
Required Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider Phlebotomy experience Medication/vaccine administration experience CPR Certified
Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Value-based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 - $56,200 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
