Food Allergy Institute in Hoboken, NJ seeks a professional Medical Assistant to support both back and front office operations in a busy allergy/immunology clinic.
You will prepare exam rooms, greet patients, manage check-in/out, assist with scheduling and billing, and maintain HIPAA-compliant EMR records. The role requires 2+ years clinic experience, CMA/RMA preferred, BLS certified, and strong organizational and customer-service skills. Experience with allergy tests is a plus.

This role works in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances).
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
