Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics across locations. You will escort patients, document histories, assist physicians, and help with biopsies and cosmetic procedures.

You’ll also manage specimen handling, scheduling, and room preparation in a busy setting. Requirements include 2–3 years in a medical office, dermatology experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and Medical Assistant training.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology experience is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and autoclaving as required.
• Other duties as assigned to the back office.
