Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our dermatology clinics. You will escort patients, document histories and medications, and assist providers with biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include front-back office support, lab specimen handling, patient communication, and maintaining exam rooms. Prior dermatology exposure is preferred, with MA training and a strong patient-care focus essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology experience is required.
• Medical Assistant training is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette and professional communication are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for the examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician/provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens; notify patients of results; schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies; back-office duties.
