Job summary

OrthoArizona in Glendale, AZ is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our physician-owned orthopedic care team. You will prepare patients for exams, take vitals, document EMR details, and support clinicians during procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office.
  • 1+ year EMR experience with ModMed/EMA preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
  • Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
  • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.
  • Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

As a Medical Assistant with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
