Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant in Arizona (Glendale) to support patient care and clinical operations. The role requires completing an approved MA program and holding active MA and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, coordinating referrals, handling medical records, maintaining a clean clinical area, ordering supplies, and communicating with patients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA) with proof of current membership.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with medical software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for specific behavioral health settings.
