Job summary

DOCS Health in Kansas is seeking Medical Assistants to join our mobile and fixed-clinic teams serving military members. You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs in a dynamic setting.

The ideal candidate is a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with CPR/BLS and 1+ year of experience, comfortable in fast-paced environments and willing to work weekend shifts in Kansas. Experience with military or mobile clinics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered medical assistant from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience with military or mobile medical services preferred.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Kansas on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training


• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred


• CPR/BLS Certification


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred


• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual


• Utilize universal precautions for patient care


• Experience working with military - preferred


• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred


• Proficient with computer programs


• Must have weekend availability
