Job summary

DOCS Health in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking Medical Assistants to partner with our military service programs. The role focuses on phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vitals in a mobile/clinic setting, with weekend work and occasional weekday needs.

Applicants should be Certified or Registered Medical Assistants, CPR/BLS certified, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Military or mobile medical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Experience with military or mobile medical services is preferred.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Kansas on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
