Job summary

North Pinellas Children's Medical Center, Inc. in Florida is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signs.
  • Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason.
  • Assist with standing orders and clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings).
  • Support providers during exams and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows).
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and comply with safety and confidentiality standards.

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
