Children's Medical Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, updating records, supporting procedures, coordinating referrals, and educating families on care plans,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or CNA preferred.
• 1–2 years of medical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with computer systems and documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect for diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for exams and document vital signs.
• Update medical records including medications, allergies, and visit reason.
• Assist with standing orders and clinical procedures.
• Support providers during exams and procedures.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up, including no-shows.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medications.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and confidentiality compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflows.
