Job summary

Palm Beach Neurosurgery LLC is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable full-time medical assistant to support two neurosurgery locations. The role requires traveling between sites to assist physicians and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, reviewing medications, preparing records, scheduling, and handling prior authorizations, triage calls, and basic clerical duties. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical assistant experience.
• Detail oriented and reliable.
• Willing to travel between two locations.
• Familiarity with medical office management systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Neurosurgery practice is looking for a full-time medical assistant who is detailed oriented and reliable and can travel to our two locations.

Responsibilities

• Room patient, obtain vitals, obtain patient histories, review medication list.
• Assist physician during exams
• Prepare medical records prior to appointments and ensure all pertinent information, such as lab results and reports, are in the file prior to the physician's visit
• Manage physician schedule to make more productive
• Perform a range of basic office support, not limited to answering phones and triage patient's phone calls, routine clerical data entry, and scanning documents
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Prior authorizations for office visits, procedures, and testing

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant with 1-2 yrs experience
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
