Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift (Monday - Friday 7a-3p) to support our Doylestown campus.

The Medical Assistant will assist pediatricians and nurse practitioners on daily rounds, enhance the patient experience, and handle clerical tasks, contributing to a compassionate, efficient care team within UHS. Benefits include strong medical coverage and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/AAMA).

Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12-acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.

The Medical Assistant position:

• Provides assistance to pediatrician/nurse practitioners on daily sick call rounds for inpatient and RTF residents.
• Improves the patient experience through daily patient interaction, clerical support, ongoing projects, and additional duties as needed.
• Supports a variety of clerical functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.
