PALMETTO KIDNEY AND HYPERTENSION AS is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare patient charts, assist with routine care alongside nurses, and help manage tests and lab reporting to keep patients informed. You will also help manage medical supplies inventory, set up equipment, and maintain clean rooms and instruments.

The ideal candidate offers strong customer service, teamwork, and reliability; familiarity with basic office duties and prescription tracking is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care.
