Job summary

Ozark Health Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care in our Clinton, AR clinic. The role includes drawing blood, phlebotomy, and assisting with routine nursing duties under APRN/LPN supervision.

Prior experience is preferred and teamwork with physicians and nurses is essential. Responsibilities include supporting diagnostic processes, communicating patient changes, and ensuring a smooth clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.
• Communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and co‑workers about changes in a patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and assist with general nursing duties under supervision.
• Under APRN/LPN supervision, perform other duties as assigned; prior experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting. Communicates with physicians, nurse practitioners, and co‑workers, as appropriate, about changes in a patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and appropriately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Must be comfortable drawing blood; phlebotomy and venipuncture on patients are essential functions of this position. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Under the supervision and direction of the APRN/LPN, and with previous training, the medical assistant will perform other duties as assigned. Prior experience is preferred.
