Job summary

Dermatology Partners in Maryland is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure high-quality patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, obtain patient histories, and educate patients on treatment plans.

This role emphasizes accurate intake, precise documentation in the EMR, HIPAA compliance, and timely scheduling. You will help with sutures, local anesthesia, allergy patch tests, and start/end-of-day tasks, contributing to a smooth clinic operation.

Qualifications

• Ensure accurate patient intake with attention to history and chief complaints.
• Document exams in the EMR with transparency and accuracy.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards in patient care.
• Assist with procedures such as sutures, local anesthetic, patch tests.

The Medical Assistant position plays a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring high-quality patient care.
