Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch patient care through effective triage and remote patient monitoring. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with technology, and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients.

• Please note although this role will mostly be remote, we are seeking a candidate within a specific area around Chicago that has the ability when needed to visit our customer clinics when needed for an ideal customer experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial patient triage remotely, assessing patient needs and urgency of care based upon their current and past condition, vitals (e.g. BP) etc..

Monitor patient health data and alerts through our remote patient monitoring system.

Communicate effectively with patients via phone, and messaging platforms, providing care instructions.

Coordinate with healthcare providers to update patient care plans based on remote monitoring data.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Participate in continuous education to stay updated on best practices in remote patient care and technology.

Requirements

Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.

Proven experience in a medical assistant role, with a strong preference for experience in triage and patient monitoring.

Comfortable using medical software and technology for remote patient care.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey medical instructions clearly to patients.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
