Qualifications

Women's Health Associates (WHA) is an independent, private family practice, OB/Gyn, and women's health practice serving the Treasure Valley. About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Located in a welcoming environment, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our practice.

Role Overview

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Measure and record vital signs accurately.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards.
• Assist in managing inventory of medical supplies.
• Perform prior authorizations, medical refill requests, and other clinical administrative functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in an Ob/Gyn or Family Medicine/Primary Care clinic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients and staff.
• Proficient in administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping.
