Job summary

Together Women's Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing medical team in Michigan. The MA will support a patient-centered experience, assist physicians, and help maintain a warm, professional environment.

Responsibilities include taking medical histories, entering data into EMR, preparing exam rooms, obtaining vitals, and assisting with injections and phlebotomy as needed. Experience in a medical office and EMR familiarity are required; CCMA or a related degree

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required or CCMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Prepare exam room and ensure cleanliness.
• Take vitals and perform basic physical tests.
• Set up diagnostic/treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records and test orders.
• May perform Scribe duties and assist physician as directed.

true. Women's Health, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-timeMedical Assistant (MA) to join their growing medical team. The Medical Assistant embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs.

Schedule: Part-time - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter into Electronic Medical Record
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visit to ensure cleanliness
• Perform any preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals
• Set up any additional diagnostic and/or treatment equipment
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Complete all documentation pertaining to patient's medical record, test requests, medications and patient education with accuracy and timeliness
• May perform Scribe duties
• Assist the physician as directed
• Must work well in a team environment

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• 1+ years in a medical office
• Experience with EMR system(s) and medical terminology is required
• Previous experience at an OBGYN office (Preferred)
