Job summary

Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a FULL TIME Medical Assistant to join a premier, technology-forward aesthetic practice. Travel to the Fort Lauderdale location may be required.

Expect standard hours from 8:30am-5pm, with 1-2 Saturday clinics per month from 9am-2pm. You will support dermatology services, maintain patient records, follow up on treatments and prescriptions, and work with a dedicated team across our growing network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years MA experience in dermatology is required.
• Experience maintaining and updating patient medical records is required.
• Experience following up with patients about treatments, test results, prescriptions and insurance is required.

We seek a FULL TIME Medical Assistant who wants to work for excellent compensation and benefits in an established, fast-growing general/aesthetic dermatology practice in Boca Raton. Travel to our Fort Lauderdale location may be required.

Required Background

• 2+ years of MA experience in dermatology REQUIRED!
• Experience maintaining and updating patient’s medical records is required.
• Experience following up with patients/clients regarding treatments, test results, prescription fulfillment and insurance is required.
• Experience with cosmetic dermatology treatments is not required but is preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of common dermatology terms, conditions and treatments.
• Understanding of HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
• Clear, concise communication skills.
• Ability to listen to and gain the confidence of patients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills.
• Team player with high energy.
• Strong sense of professionalism, courtesy, and respect for customers and team members.
• Knowledge of Nextech (EMR) a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments in an organized fashion.
• Standard working hours are 830am-5pm Monday through Friday and 1-2 Saturday clinics per month from 9am-2pm. There are some fluctuations in the schedule.
• Fluent in English, with excellent writing and grammatical skills.
