Acts as scribe and chaperone during surgical consults with the Plastic Surgeon
Participates in post-operative care
Works directly with Plastic Surgeon
Assists in all aspects of providing direct patient care
Chart all vital information in EMR as well as check to be sure all information related to medication, health history and reason for visit is obtained and documented
Stock supplies and clean exam and procedure rooms
Communicate with patients and direct questions to appropriate staff member
Assist and take notes in consults, injection appointments and other treatments
Report test results to patients as indicated by physician in a timely manner
Assist patients with online portal access
Assist providers with in-clinic procedures
Coordinate care and diagnostic testing at other facilities as indicated by physician
Assist with surgery scheduling
Accomplish other front office tasks such as records filing, faxing, opening mail, etc.
Help with basic housekeeping tasks such as laundry and staff lounge, etc.
