Job summary

DOCS Health in Colorado is seeking Medical Assistants to support military service members at fixed-clinic and mobile treatment centers. Shifts are mostly on weekends with occasional weekday coverage as needed in the state.

Requirements include a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training, CPR/BLS, and preferred phlebotomy certification. Experience in mobile medical services and working with military populations is a plus.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Colorado on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
