Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Medical Assistant

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Multiple outpatient clinics surrounding Arlington Heights
  • Full Time only
  • Hours: Monday-Friday and potential rotating Saturdays, hours vary depending on the need of the practice.
  • Required Travel: Travel is required for float positions.

General Summary:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and accountable to the Clinical Supervisor, the Medical Assistant serves as the primary assistant to the medical provider by performing routine clinical tasks and direct patient care under the supervision of the Physician (MD) and Registered Nurse (RN). Based on physician orders, facilitates patient throughput, clinical testing, and follow-up activities.

What you will need:

  • Education: Current certification from a national Medical Assistant certification body or obtain within 3 months of hire or transfer.
  • Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
  • Experience: Working knowledge of and experience with clinical equipment and materials.
