A leading healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves assisting physicians and clinicians with patient care, maintaining clinic flow, and performing various clerical tasks. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and CPR certification. Benefits include medical coverage, 401(k), and generous PTO.
Medical Assistant - Arlington Heights, IL - Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $19.00-$22.00

Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician's schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.
Provide collaborative nursing support.
Maintain efficient patient flow.
Assist with procedures as requested.
Administer appropriate injections.
Take vitals.
Answer/return patient telephone calls for referral to physician or nurse
Tend to the needs of the patients while getting treatment
Assist with scheduling patient appointments
High School degree or GED
2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
CPR Certification required same as BLS
Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Phlebotomy skills highly desired
Oncology experience a plus
