Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in St. Louisville, OH seeks a Helicopter Pilot to deliver safe medical air transportation. The role offers a salary range of $106,511–$117,162 with a 20% geo modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and retention bonuses after three years. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are provided.

Minimum requirements include FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and Class II Medical Certificate, plus flight hour thresholds. Preference for B206 experience and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Requirements include 2000 total flight hours on rotorcraft.
• 1500 helicopter hours and 1000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours; 100 night hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for AEL and regulators.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
