The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), potential 18 college credits, and completion of a teaching assistant certification. The candidate must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 18 college credits preferred.
• Teaching assistant certification is required for this position.
• Must regularly lift and/or move individuals—up to 150 pounds with assistance; may require lifting 50 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

• Assists directly in the classroom with daily living activities, including feeding, personal care, and student transitions.
• Assist teachers and therapists with activities designed to meet student goals.
