Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Manager, Medical Affairs Congress Planning and Execution to lead hands-on delivery of congress activities within our Global Medical Affairs (GMA) organization, supporting non-promotional scientific communication across our CNS portfolio.

This role owns workplans, timelines, budgets, and on-site logistics to ensure compliant, on-time congress deliverables. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, public health, or another healthcare/scientific discipline required
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical communications, clinical research, or healthcare environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, and vendors for multiple concurrent projects
• Experience supporting scientific communications, medical education, congress activities, publications, or Medical Affairs initiatives

Responsibilities

• Operationalize congress strategy by translating priorities into annual plans, workplans, timelines, owners, and deliverables.
• Maintain the congress calendar, deadlines, embargo dates, and milestones.
• Coordinate day-to-day congress delivery including sponsored symposia, investigator meetings, booth presence, and vendor coordination.
• Track content versions, approvals, and ensure materials meet compliance standards and data publication embargoes
