Role Description:

The Medical Aesthetician role at RW Dermatology is a full or part-time, on-site position based in Furlong, PA. This team member performs a range of aesthetic treatments, such as facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and hair removal procedures, in close collaboration with medical providers. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, conducting client consultations, reviewing medical histories as appropriate, and educating clients on skincare routines and post-treatment care. The Medical Aesthetician documents services accurately, maintains a clean and safe clinical environment, and adheres to all practice protocols and regulations. The role also involves providing exceptional client service, supporting practice operations as needed, and contributing to a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in aesthetic procedures such as medical grade facials is a must. Experience with lasers and microneedling is preferred, but not required. Must have a strong focus on safety and client comfort.
• Foundational understanding of Medicine or medical aesthetics, and ability to follow treatment plans under licensed clinical supervision.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a professional, compassionate demeanor.
• State-recognized aesthetician license, with relevant continuing education in medical aesthetics.
• Ability to work on-site full or part time, manage schedules efficiently, and maintain accurate treatment documentation and records.
• Knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and treatment contraindications; prior dermatology or medical spa experience is strongly preferred.
